Travel Inspiration From Around the World

Looking for some travel ideas? Let the calendar be your inspiration. Annual events and festivals are a great foundation for a memorable trip. Here are a few of my favorites.

Every spring, Seville, Spain, hosts what is widely considered to be the most powerful and elaborate Easter celebration in the world. For travelers, Semana Santa (Holy Week) offers an extraordinary cultural immersion, though it does require advance planning due to high hotel demand and street closures. This celebration is noteworthy for the carvings of virgins under a canopy: baroque images with silver or gold crowns, embroidered mantles and velvet tunics that only reveal the face and hands. Annual dates vary based on the Easter holiday but are generally mid-March to mid-April.

In mid-May London presents the iconic Chelsea Flower Show. It is such a refined, beautiful event. I attended last year and absolutely loved it. The 2026 show runs May 19-23 in the stunning grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Don’t miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world of extraordinary garden designs, breathtaking floral displays and exclusive shopping experiences, all in one of London’s most famous settings.

For another floral masterpiece on the third Sunday in May, the Infiorata di Noto (pictured below) in Sicily will not disappoint. Each year, entire streets are transformed into intricate floral mosaics. This Baroque display dates back to the 17th century and originally was created in Rome to celebrate the Easter holiday. Infiorata pairs beautifully with a southeastern Sicily itinerary.

In early June, head to Monaco for Grand Prix. The Monaco Grand Prix (pictured above) is a Formula One motor racing event held annually on a tight course weaving through the streets of Monaco. Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world and is arguably the most glamorous with superyachts, champagne terraces and pure Riviera energy as the backdrop.

No matter what occasion you chose, we can create a unique, personalized itinerary that will meet your travel goals. Let’s talk! Book a discovery call with me.

The Heart of London

Earlier in April, I spent a week in London, jaunting behind the scenes with several new exclusive experiences because the REAL MAGIC is always in the ACCESS. Here are a few of the brightest highlights from my trip:

  • Spending private moments with the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London
  • Getting behind the glass at the Churchill War Rooms(yes, that’s me on the phone at Winston’s actual desk)
  • Enjoying an insider’s look at the Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style Exhibition, a moving tribute to this legendary figure
  • Experiencing a surreal conversation with HRH Prince Edward on UK–US travel and what’s to come
  • Indulging in a private visit to Fortnum & Mason to experience British culinary heritage at its finest

All of these exclusive opportunities were balanced, of course, with a proper hotel refresh. I visited nine properties in London and they were incredible! I was excited to get a first look atThe Chancery Rosewood. It’s definitely one to watch with Mad Men vibes! And my time was well spent at two London ions, Claridges and The Goring, both quintessential, timeless and exactly why I can never get enough of London.

Hope these moments inspire your next jaunt across the pond.

Coming Soon to Baja’s East Cape

On Baja’s unspoiled East Cape, Amanvari is where the desert quietly gives way to the sea. The resort’s name means “peace” and “water” in Sanskrit, and you will feel feel both the moment you arrive. Palm trees nestle near luxury Casitas. Some are beachfront and some overlook the ocean, but all blend seamlessly into the landscape, offering sweeping views and easy access to the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and the legendary Sea of Cortés.

Amanvari will welcome guests later in 2026 but bookings are available now.
