Peloponnese - Greece

Are you ready for your Peloponnese moment?

Greece lovers, take note: the Peloponnese is about to have its moment. With Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey filming in Messinia and set for release in July 2026, this myth-soaked region is quickly climbing global travel wish lists. Expect increased demand — 2026 is a book-early year.

Swim at Voidokilia Beach (pictured above), wander Methoni Castle (pictured below), visit Nestor’s Palace and enjoy a quieter, more authentic side of Greece — rich in history, nature and understated luxury.

The spotlight on this amazing country is heating up as Peacock has a new series filming here this year, highlighting Greece’s historic sites and stunning landscapes. Shows like this often produce a “White Lotus effect” on locales as the global audience gains exposure to new places. Greece is certainly hoping they will get this type of bump! So if Greece is on your radar for 2026, now is the time to plan. Let’s talk!

But never mind the trends, Greece’s golden sand and fine-pebbled beaches diving below the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea have enchanted travelers for millennia. Now you just need to decide if 2026 is the year you will answer the call.

Eleven Deplar Farm - iceland

Dip into the Viking Wellness approach to travel

Viking wellness is emerging as one of the most intriguing travel trends for 2026. Inspired by ancient Norse traditions rooted in nature and ritual, this style of wellbeing focuses on elemental experiences — heat, cold, breathwork and connection. Communal dining is another key feature of the trend, with large tables and sharing dishes.

At places like Eleven Deplar Farm (pictured here) in Iceland, guests take part in Viking-style sauna rituals with intense heat, icy plunges and guided breathwork. Deplar Farm’s unique location at the edge of the Arctic Circle on Iceland’s north coast offers guests a getaway like no other. Atop this peninsula isolated by rugged mountains, untouched rivers and pounding surf, this restored 15th-century sheep farm becomes your base for exploring Iceland’s expansive terrain by ski, surfboard, fat bike and heli-ski. Under the Northern Lights or the midnight sun, otherworldly scenery, award-winning amenities and endless adventures await.

Similar Nordic-inspired wellness experiences are now appearing across Scandinavia and even in unexpected destinations like St. Barts, where contrast therapy meets tropical luxury. Communal dining and open-fire cooking complete the experience, emphasizing connection and simplicity. This is wellness stripped back to its roots — grounding, immersive and deeply restorative.

Cambridge house - London

Luxury’s New Home in London

One of Europe’s most highly anticipated hotel openings this year is Cambridge House in London, the latest from Auberge Collection. Since 1756, Cambridge House has been the home where the great and the glorious gather. The storied centuries-old landmark, set in an 18th Century Georgian mansion has welcomed tastemakers and world shapers throughout its rich history. Cambridge House is poised to reclaim its spot as the capital’s most magnetic and vibrant gathering place and experience-driven luxury hotel.

The imaginative renewal of this historic property at 94 Piccadilly captures the spirit of London like no other. Set in the historic building that formerly housed the iconic In and Out Military Club, the house will be reimagined as a 102-room luxury hotel. Preserving its rich heritage while offering a harmonious blend of luxuriously private and vibrant social spaces replete with unique dining destinations and Auberge spa.

The Cambridge House is set to open this spring.
